Open Your Heart Summer Challenge Grant
Hunger Solutions is excited to announce the Summer Challenge grant opportunity in partnership with Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless. The Summer Challenge grant allows food shelves across Minnesota to participate in a fundraising challenge for a proportionally matched grant of up to $4,000.
During the month of July, food shelves leverage this opportunity to fundraise and in turn receive a proportionally matched grant award. Grant awards are based on how many food shelves participate and how much each food shelf raised in July with a minimum grant award of $150 and a maximum grant award of $4,000. This year Hunger Solutions has a total of $95,000 to distribute among participating food shelves.
Please note:
The grant match is not a dollar-for-dollar match. Grant awards are a proportional match up to $4,000.
