Food Shelf Best Practices for COVID-19 This document applies the MDH guidance on COVID-19 to food shelf operations and ensures program changes remain in line with TEFAP policy. These best practices for divided into four (4) areas:

1. Workforce (Paid and Volunteer)
2. Food Distribution
3. Communications
4. What to do in the case of a potential closure
