Through advocacy, supporting sound public policy and strategic communications, we take action to end hunger and assure food security for all Minnesotans. We use our resources to strengthen our capacity and effectiveness.

Keeping Food on the Table
“Keeping Food on the Table”, is a quarterly review of the state of hunger in Minnesota. The review looks at food shelf usage, food stamps, federal commodities, suburban hunger and other factors contributing to the rising issue of hunger in Minnesota.

The Voice of Hunger Network is the grassroots advocacy arm of Hunger Solutions Minnesota. A network of people who work to end hunger in MN by motivating decision-makers to take supportive action on state and national hunger policy issues.
HSM Blue Ribbon Food Shelf© Initiative
Hunger Solutions Minnesota announces that it has awarded the first Hunger Solutions Minnesota’s (HSM) Blue Ribbon Food Shelf© Initiative Seal to Friends in Need Food Shelf of St. Paul Park. Friends in Need has demonstrated that it meets the standards of excellence for Minnesota food shelves.
