The Open Door Pantry, located in Eagan, is a food shelf that gives food and groceries to people in Dakota County at no cost. We offer milk, eggs, dairy, meat, fish, breads, fruits and vegetables (when available), plus canned and packaged food. Appointments at our Pantry may be made once a month. During busy times, there may be two months between Pantry appointments. It’s helpful if you bring a picture ID or mail with your address to your first visit – but if you don’t have these, you can still get food. Language translation services are available. If you can, please bring your own bags for your food. Delivery available.
Crisis Help: If you need food right now, we can provide you with a To-Go Bag of groceries. Our To-Go Bags are pre-packed bags of pantry staples, and you can stop in any time we are open to get one.
Other Food Support Options at The Open Door: Our Pantry isn’t the only way you can get fresh food from us. Ask about our Drive-Thru appointments, our Mobile Food locations, our summertime Mobile Lunchbox program, or our Emergency To-Go Bags. We can also help you get connected with other community agencies or assistance.
