Glendale Food Shelf supplies a wide variety of food items, including fresh fruits and vegetables and culturally specific foods that are staples to the diets of community members. Each family member is eligible to receive a monthly allocation of 25 pounds of food. Participants can shop multiple times during the month until the total household food allocation is reached.

ELIGIBILITY:
Must be a resident of Glendale Town Homes

Income must be at or below 300% of federal poverty guidelines (self-declared)

Each family completes an enrollment form providing names and ages of each person in the household.

Community Emergency Service Food Shelf(2.3 miles away)

Our Food Shelf is open Monday – Wednesday from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. We are a first come, first serve food shelf, no appointment needed. In person shopping/client choice. You may visit 1 time per month.

Numbers of order are handed out at 12:45pm and doors open at 1:00pm. Once we have reached capacity, we are unable to accept more visits for the day, however we do offer resources of food shelfs nearby.

You may visit every Friday to receive fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, and other food items. Numbers will be handed out at 12:30pm, and the event runs from 1:00 – 3:00pm

Update: Community Emergency Service (CES) is now offering food shelf visits on Wednesdays (late afternoons & early evenings). These are by appointment only and are offered during the following time slots:

  • 4:20pm, 4:40pm, 5:00pm, 5:20pm, 5:40pm
