Open Your Heart Summer Challenge Grant 2021
Hunger Solutions Minnesota announces the 2021 July Fundraising Challenge with Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless. Participating food shelves receive a matched grant proportional to funds raised during July with a minimum grant award of $150, and a maximum grant award of $4,000.
Please make sure to provide up-to-date contact information – especially a current email address – as this is how we will send toolkits with fundraising tips.
Additionally, we ask that you provide information about your fundraising plan for this year’s grant opportunity. If your food shelf is hosting a fundraiser event for this challenge, we would like to share that information with community members and supporters.
Please note: Grant awards will not be a dollar-for-dollar match. Each grant award is based on the number of food shelves participating and how much each food shelf raises in July. The total pool of $85,000 will be spread across all participating food shelves for the proportional grant award.
