The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the availability of up to $6 million in grants under The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) to food banks, food pantries and soup kitchens to improve and expand infrastructure. Up to $3 million is reserved for rural infrastructure grants, with projects that primarily benefit or serve rural Native American communities receiving priority consideration, and up to $3 million for general infrastructure projects.
