During the April recess, Senate Agriculture Committee staff are working on report language for the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act, the Child Nutrition Reauthorization package that cleared the Committee on March 24th. Anti-hunger advocates are seeking to build on gains included in the Senate Agriculture Committee bill as that legislation moves to the Senate floor and as the House Education and Labor Committee begins work on its Child Nutrition Reauthorization proposal.
