Hunger Solutions works to fight hunger in Minnesota at every level.

  • We work to solve the problems of today by getting food to those who need it. Our work to administer the state’s federal commodities program will bring more than five million pounds of food to Minnesota’s food shelves and meal programs this year, and our donors help us provide another million pounds of fresh produce and other foods to these agencies.
  • We also ensure that effective help will be there tomorrow for those in need by providing our members with the funds, equipment, and training that they need to serve their communities.
  • Finally, we provide long-term solutions to end hunger in the years to come by working to eliminate barriers to the use of public nutrition programs and by attacking hunger at its roots by actively participating in the larger poverty discussion.
