Volunteers are the backbone of this membership organization. They realize the reality that some people have to go hungry in one of the wealthiest and most abundant nations in the world. They see that their neighbors have to make decisions whether to eat or pay for meds, or have heat in the house, and THEY RESPOND with their time, talent and resources.
