Hunger Solutions works with food shelves to increase their capacity to meet the needs within the community. HSM staff provides expertise and the outside perspective on increasing service delivery capabilities and strengthening community connections. This we do in several ways: * assisting with facility layouts to ensure maximal use of space * making connections for reduced price operational supplies * working with local grocers to set up the pre-packed grocery bags for purchase by the general public * providing assistance in enhancing and/or expanding the current volunteer engagement efforts * providing media support through the strategic placement of press releases and public service announcements As part of the plan for expanded services to food shelves, Hunger Solutions is actively seeking new partnerships. This includes meetings with partner organizations, connecting with volunteer management leaders to solicit their expertise in planning new food shelf initiatives, and raising the level of technology.
