My name is Traci Good and I work for ReEmployAbility, Inc. We work with employers and insurance companies nationwide to help them place their injured employees in volunteer positions until they can return back to the workplace doing the job they did before they were injured. We are developing a program to help these injured workers – who have been released to light duty by their doctors – back into the workforce.
These employees are not disabled, but rather previously injured and have been released to light duty work. They have minor physical restrictions but are capable of performing light duty work. These volunteers are being paid by their pre-injury employer to volunteer for your organization.
Right now we’re building alliances with several non-profit organizations to help fulfill their volunteer needs in the area of office administration and/or food sorting and helping out in stores that resell new or slightly used items.
If you have a current or future need for a volunteer to help your organization with data entry, answering phones, filing, reception, sorting food, building food boxes, organizing and stocking store items or greeting customers, please contact me. I would very much like to add your organization to our list! In addition, if you know of another non-profit organization with volunteer needs or this message would be better directed to another department within your organization, please feel free to forward.
Please contact me via email or phone at your earliest convenience if you feel you will have a need for a volunteer now or in the near future. If we can help, please let us know.
Thank you.
